Work with me

Working together

Every rider who comes to me arrives with something they can't quite name. They know something isn't working- in their body, their mind, or the space between them and their horse, but they haven't been able to find the thread that pulls it all together. That's where we start.

Before anything else, I want to understand you. Your history, your horse, what you've already tried, what lights you up, and what shuts you down. Not to check boxes, but because the answer to what's keeping you stuck is almost always already in that story somewhere.

From there, our work together is genuinely responsive to what's showing up for you that week, what your horse is reflecting back, and what your body is telling us that your words might not be. Some sessions will be movement-based. Some will be more like a conversation. Some will be you riding or with your horse and some sessions might surprise you. The through line is always the same: finding the pattern, understanding it, and building something better in its place.

You'll leave each session with something concrete like an exercise, a tool, a shift in how you're thinking about a problem and the work between sessions matters just as much as the sessions themselves. Progress here isn't just what happens on your horse, but it's who you're becoming as a rider, and as a partner.

Because no two riders are alike, sessions are built entirely around you. There is no formula, no one-size-fits-all program. Just focused, whole-person work toward the ride and the relationship you came here for.

Changing deeply ingrained patterns- in the body, the brain, or both-takes time and repetition. Most riders work with me once or twice a week for two to three months when we're doing that kind of foundational work. It's a focused season of change, with a clear sense of direction.

Some riders come for a single session to work through something specific. These sessions are longer and usually incorporate both movement and bodywork. Others stay longer as new layers emerge. Basically we figure out what makes sense for you at the start and revisit it as we go.

The best place to begin is a private, one-on-one session. We'll take a real look at where you are — your patterns, your history, your horse, and what's getting in the way. You're welcome to send a riding video beforehand, and we'll use that first session to map out exactly what your work looks like and where to focus first.

Every new client also receives my Six Week Program — three videos a week covering rider-specific movement, pre-ride neuromuscular sequencing, and nervous system regulation — as a complement to what we build together in session. It's yours to work with between our meetings.
